Here's a few nice photos I took on the 21st December around the pond at
work. The rime deposits here were quite spectacular. They had formed on

Error in Durham rainfall on Met Office site

Looking at the local current weather page for NE England on the Met
Office site shows :

Last 24 hours: UKHighest max 10.1 °C Isles Of Scilly
Lowest max -2.2 °C Topcliffe

Astonishing warmth

13.2 degC at 7am this morning here at Ferryhill in Co. Durham. Last
night was stormy, with an incessant gale, it must have been a bit blowy
up your place Ken!

The wind has now dropped and it's dried...
