Weather reports in plain text??

Anyone out there know where I can find simple plain text web page reports that show the highs and lows of what's happened today and during the past week ?

I don't want these all signing all dancing...

Accuracy/consistency of MetO forecasts ?

I'm trying to understand why the Met Office forecasts are so
consistently wrong, and keeps changing from hour to hour sometimes !?

Last weekend - Easter - there were constantly changing forecasts...
