Default Thunder Northallerton 15:10

Several claps of Thunder just now, a couple of heavy downpours to
bring me in from gardening... apart from that such a nice day

Hi, Nick,
I can confirm as I was at Northallerton Town's ground watching them
lose 5 - 1 to my team - Bishop Auckland (:0))
It was warm and sunny soon afterwards. Overheard some Northallerton
folk complaining that thunder had not been forecast and the weather
forecasters were no good etc. etc. They did say that RAF Leeming was
supposed to be good for forecasts but they could not find the 'phone
number etc etc.
I didn't join in.

sort of thing ?! I just look at Meto on my mobile, am on O2
Simplicity 20 with unlimited data plugin
No it wasn't forecast at all, not even the rain that preceded it...
well they had done on Thursday, by Friday they said it wouldn't and
continued to do so from then on... got it wrong again... SOOOO glad
we're not down in the SW with that torrential rain, think the whole
country's gonna get it Tue/Wed, at least I hope so as am just off to
Sam Turner for some Lawn Sand...

Thunder Moor allerton north Leeds golf club on 5th fairway at same time
,about 15mls from North Allerton.Thought I`d have to abandon game ,then
heavy rain for 15 minutes then sun.
