Does a front look like a wave?

I am using the previously mentioned weather program. I can see a
front that is bringing rain. Appears like there is a low-level mass
of air moving towards the front, like an ocean wave.

What causes radar ground clutter?

Hopefully my terminology "ground clutter" is correct. From the (USA)
National Weather Service website... Short Range Images -- Rainfall -- 1
Hour Total. I use it whenever there is rain in the area....
