Also woke up to damp surfaces this morning in SE Sheffield but can't recall rain being forecast. Table mats and chair covers soaked as well as napkins. Oh well... preparation for Tue/Wed I guess. ;-)

Just experienced a brief summer shower in SE Sheffield. First proper summer shower for several years. Quite humid but is forecast to clear soon.

@VirtualAstro on Twitter commented on a bright meteor over the UK about three hours ago. The witnesses said it had a green tinge.
