To be honest, I'm not surprised you might have been having problems on a
Windows 7/8 PC if WL had not been installed simply to C:\Weatherlink, which
is always the recommended folder nowadays**....

Windows 8.1 should actually be fine with WL603. It will almost certainly be
some other aspect of the PC configuration, but difficult to know exactly
what - it's an unusual fault report. Certainly...

There are two or three different Windoos and the basic one will be cheaper
than that. I've actually got some for stock in the cupboard here, but the
