Met office rain prediction for SE off again

Only last night they were predicting heavy rain for kent this morning and
moderate rain for London and the rest of the SE. Actual weather? Nothing of
the sort. A few scattered patches of drizzle...

Perhaps I'm wrong, but to me this summer seems to have been constantly
humid down here in London regardless of temperature or cloud cover. Is this
actually the case or am I imagining it?
