Default Haytor current weather page update 13/10/05

This posting expresses the personal view and opinions of the author.
Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do.
================================================== ==================

A few more changes this week:

Clicking on the Devon flag will now take you to www.thisisdevon.co.uk

The link to Haytor weather averages is live.
The link to the Haytor weather data archive is live.
The link to the weekly forecast is live.

Had trouble with computer locking occasionally meaning loss of webcam images.
Also Davis AWS lost signal a few times, but apart from that it has worked fine.

Now working on the image archive and of course the Haytor meteorological office
logo (yes I know !!!).
I hope to include some stunning pictures of local scenery in the image archive,
and I promise, no cows or chain saws :-)

Will (Chief Executive HMO).

What is wrong with cows and chain saws? OK, how about some sheep then? :-)

LOL you get used to it Jon.
Very thick fog today 20m vis at times and continuous soaking drizzle. 0.5 mm in
gauge so far.

When I first moved up here it used to drive me mad, seemingly endless days of
fog and drizzle in autumn and winter but now we just get on with life. Still a
joy and a boost when it lifts though.

.... I did have a new chain put on this summer and the saw is *very* sharp :-)

Will.
