Rupert stop rolling on the floor laughing, this is serious. That GFS showing
the "euro-trash high" (what would we've called it before that crap channel
four tosh called euro-trash?) Well that high is almost as bad as this one.

Yes indeed Lawrence, nothing remotely interesting happened in that
Winter... the GFS 500 hPa for 25th January proves it:
