-- Alan White Ah, but what was your max Alan. Just had the first sub 10c day (just) of 9.9c. Thought we might even be getting a ground frost, but it's clouding over now with a min of 3.9. -- David Mitchell, 70m amsl, Langtoft, East Riding of Yorkshire. In Penzance we've only had one sub 15 degree max this Autumn (14.1 on 12th October), which is quite remarkable even for here. 17.5mm of rain in 12 hours up to 09:00 today, bringing the October total to 112.1mm, the wettest month of the year, but still only around 90% of the 1971-2000 norm, and substantially less than the 221.1mm which fell in October last year. Now thoroughly unpleasant. Gusting 30-35 mph with horizontal drizzle. Graham |
