A real downpour here during the past 10 minutes. Max rate (between
bucket tips) of 34 mm/hour.

Yes, similar here in Wokingham around 16z. I was seriously thinking about
the possibility of thunder, and as Will says, I too can imagine I am on
Dartmoor in the drizzle.

Luton reported TSRA, no corresponding sferics on the ATD system though.
