Well I couldn't be bothered to go through all my data and work it out,
so I decided to write a program to do it instead. It needs perfecting and
I'll be yet after some advice (like how to calculate the dominant wind
direction - does it take into account speed or not?). Anyway, here is the
as yet fairly untidy output for October:

Anything I missed that I should have included? Oh yes, wind gust. I'll get
round to it But by hand for now it was just over 29 mph
