Just 4 air frosts this year, 2 in January, 1 in February & 1 in March.
(There were no air frosts at all in 2002.) The average for the 12 years 1992-2004 is just 6.6. Still waiting for the first air frost this winter, and there is certainly sign of it. Sea temperature off west Cornwall still around 11.5 degrees. Plenty of daffodils out now. www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/Daffs.html Graham |
