Belgium on Monday

Sunday night's min. temps ranged between 8.3°C at Elsenborn at 564 m asl in
the Hautes Fagnes and 20.8°C on Ostend Pier - many places in Flanders had
min. temps of 17 to 19°C.

Remnants of thundery showers from over the North Sea affected West Flanders
in the early morning - thunder and lightning observed in places and even a
few drops of rain: shower gave 2 mm rain at Koksijde.

Otherwise sunny again: max. temps 32 to 34°C in Flanders - even on the
coast (Ostend Airport 33.5°C); 31 to 32°C in the east of Wallonia
(Elsenborn 30.9°C).

Hottest places - Kortrijk (SW Flanders) and Chièvres (near Mons) 34.0°C,
Meeuwen-Gruitrode (Limburg) 34.1°C, Kapelle o/d Bos (north of Brussels)
34.4°C, Maasmechelen 34.6°C, Kleine Brogel 34.8°C.
