Default Snow forecasts

I note that MO is now offering an 80% risk of disruption here as a
result of heavy snow.

I also note that in the MO 5 day forecast for the same location, no snow
is now forecast, merely lots of rain.

Assumption: The MO has no clue regarding the weather which may occur
this week. And thanks to the MO, and the BBC, neither have I.
