Default [WR] Snow - North Devon

Crickey !!

After one hail shower, have just been hit by a heavy shower.

Combined hail / snow (long lasting shower)

Real flakes getting right down to sea level.

Landscape is slowly turning white !!

Incredible !!!!

Winter's come early here

Default Snow - North Devon

Quick Update.

More than one hour, of heavy snow, it's still coming down

Very good covering on all surfaces (including the leafs of trees)

When the winds drop down occasionally, it's almost picture postcard
perfect scenes out there.

The heaviest fall of snow around here for many a year.

It's really bad, right down to sea level. Must be worse over the moors
and hills !!

Hi Stephen,

It's getting serious on the moors now. Snowploughs are out in my area and the
snow is piling up with a falling temperature.

Really pleased you got some of the white stuff at last !

Any more Devon reports?
Looking at the radar there is more to come our way.
Serious stuff, but spare a thought for those living and working in Highland
region.

Will.
