Good evening all.

Some might remember the freezing fog report I had sent to this group last
week concerning the NW of the country. The valleys kept lying snow for ~5
days even though temperatures were quite high in the rest of the
country -and above the inversion layer. Here are some pics from Florina (a)
right after the snowfalls and (b) after fog had settled in:

Consecutive days of rainfall have made it up for the dry start of December
here in Athens, as the whole basin has received more than 100 mm of rain
during the last 12 days.
Snowfalls are now affecting western Macedonia -yet again- and the highlands
of the rest of the country. The weather's getting better now again, while a
new cold wave is expected to affect much of the country, especially eastern
and southern wind prone areas (including Athens) on Monday-Wednesday.

Happy new year all, talk next year ;-)
