Well it was during daylight hours anyway with a max below freezing at -0.1 deg C
1515 Temp -0.7 deg C Dewpoint -2 deg C Visibility 60Km or more (clearest air I have seen for years!) BKN cloud Wind W 6 knots corrected to 10m Snow depth - 5cm powder. Great to see everyone sledging this afternoon on the slopes. Snow quite variable on the moor, but an average depth seemed to be about 7cm at 400m. Convergence line now moving away west into Cornwall as predicted by The Met Office. Temp should fall like a stone now over the snow cover.
