A dreadful Saturday here in Aberdeen. Total rain 20.0mm and still
rising making it the fourth wettest day since I started recording on 30th May, after 11 Oct (52.2mm) , 6 July (27.4mm)and 12 Oct (21.4mm). Max temp today was 5.8C. Rainfall for the month is now up to 60.8mm, almost half of which has fallen since Wednesday. Total for the autumn is 209.6mm and since 30th May it is 334.4mm. Richard Slessor, Hazlehead, Aberdeen. |

Don't get too depressed about the rainfall, Richard. Having moved here a
couple of years ago from my previous home at the base of the Campsie Fells near Glasgow, Aberdeen(shire) is so much drier in comparison. Monthly rainfall in Glasgow used to frequently exceed 100m whereas here it has only happened once (ie last month). For info yesterdays rainfall here in Westhill reached 22.6mm up until midnight, total rainfall for the month being 77.6mm. Tom Masson "Richard Slessor" wrote in message oups.com... Refence to 100m rainfall should have read 100mm. The only time 100m occurred
was when the River Kelvin came into my back garden. Tom "Tom Masson" wrote in message ... Don't get too depressed about the rainfall, Richard.
