Well, well, well. Traffic chaos on ice in two counties that have
ditched the Met Office products, in favour of cheaper private company
alternatives,

Need I say any more?

Accountants take notice.

Is that why "Gloucestershire" is now being described as being in "south west
England" [BBC1 6pm News, a few minutes ago]. Can't think how I'd describe
its location, but south west England is a new one to me. Where does it put
Milton Keynes ?

Because it's in the South West Region...

I'd call it South Midlands myself, along with Oxfordshire but TPTB
differ.

What about the traffic chaos on the M11 in Jan 2003, and Brum in Jan
2004? Note there was no chaos in Brum this year.

Yes you do.
You should add that you work at Cardiff Weather Centre.
You should perhaps enlighten us about your forecasts for
south Wales last Friday.
You should recognise that you live in a glass house and
shouldn't throw stones.

How did you find that out Philip, from the NNTP posting host? Always a goodie
that one.

I suspect Philip that he/she has possibly touched a nerve there :-)
best regards,
