1200 S F4 50km RESHRA 1/CU T086D070
RMK: Cu med reported, with Cu hum/fra now dominant, and 2 oktas distant
Cirrus - perhaps ex. Convective activity associated with a trough.
Frequent SHRA during morning, with BKN cloud cover; -TSRA (single clap
thunder only) 1045Z. No great amounts of 'new' rain - 2.0mm. Complete
change in character of sky in past 20 minutes, with marked decrease in
convective towers, strong sunshine etc., so I suspect a minor short-wave
trough has passed over and we're in the descent rearward of same.=

.... I'm afraid this statement was a load of old cobblers: I had
completely overlooked the 28.4mm in the rain-day on the 2nd of last
month (November). Apologies.

Martin.
