Perhaps this is a sign that the pattern of the last few years has
indeed changed - record warmth instead of snow in Athens as of the last couple of years! Scott, we did have a snow day in Athens (Nov 21st), while there have already been snowfalls in all mountains around Greece, especially in the northwest. It is not very common to have snowfalls in Athens in November, though the average figure has rised during the last decade or so. The last years have given new temperature records for both temperature minima and temperature maxima. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that patterns have changed.
