I just bought a high quality Tasco(?) telescope very expensive, took awhile
to setup aswell.. I got the moon in view, and looked through the lense and WOW. I can see every crator on the moon, its as if im in the moons orbit waiting to land |

You can actually feel and 'experience' the weather unlike astronomy where you are peering at it though a lens and it all seems rather, well, 'distant'. Plus the fact that that you can predict an eclipse with absolute certainty 1000 years in the future yet we can't be really sure what tomorrow's weather will be like.
