Default NOAA satellite images

I was searching for an alternative to 'Dundee', due to connection problems
and found this page:

http://saturn.unibe.ch/rsbern/noaa/d...ime/index.html

Click on 'fullres' under 'current dataset' column for Produkt - level 1b

Note also the weekly archive.

Currently showing a detailed image of the UK and cold front clearance, image
size around 1.7MB.

Sorry folks, the university campus was again without power on Sunday
in order to repair part of the power station which exploded a few weeks
ago. The satellite station was able to receive all passes but was not
able to maintain a full web presence during that period. Hopefully
that is the last time that serious maintenance will be required on the
power supply.

cool set of images, I'll definitely add this to the Satellite images on my
weather portal. If there are others like this, let me know.
