Looks like a Christmas Heatwave!
So where is the coldest winter for ten years then?? Two months ago I put
away the barbecue and the patio set. Wherever these forecasters are getting their info from hardly seems to be a reliable scource. I know its early days yet but it appear that incouraging to me. Regards. Len. |

I'm getting too old to be taken in by the hype... ummmm
Someone on TWO just posted the tel number for the Samaritans, for the folks over there Much like the event itself...an anti-climax...with the rest of the winter to look forward to. Time to pack up the models...what will be...will be Now... what's going to happen in January |

Nothing! Just like most other Januaries.
I feel that the whole thing has been blown out of proportion by the media, who will be just as stupid and do it all again next year. No lesson learn't. "BlueLightning" wrote in message oups.com... At one point on BBC R2 today they were referring to the coming winter as
'the worst on record'. A case of shinew whispers methinks! |

My view is, if the BBC and other media organisations cannot quantify how
