Travel's taking a bit hit here this morning - all train services through
Canterbury are suspended until further notice. The roads look horrendous
- a neighbour gave up trying to move his car when he realised that there
wasn't enough clearance over the snow to physically move it.

The forecast this morning was for another 5-10cm today - heaven help us
if we get that much :-/

Not bad Jon, i have 6cm here and im a little lower
than canterbury, but down in herne bay hardly
anything perhaps 1 - 2cm.

Can't get much lower than here - 8m ASL. I've been out and measured in a
few places - 10cm on the front garden, 8cm on the back (but Leylandii
probably got in the way a bit). Lots of icicles

Still snowing lightly here - not much more accumulation but no real thaw
either. There has been no train service at either Canterbury East or
Canterbury West all day.
