Default Snow showers

No snow showers today. Fine, cold and sunny.

The western extent of them yesterday, seemed to be Wolverhampton. As I
went on a train trip to Church Stretton , there was a dusting of snow to
Codsall on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. After that hard frost to at
least Telford. Though no frost at Church Stretton.

Hard frost on top of the Callow Hill (Approx 500m asl), Long Mynd. When
I was on the lower hills, the white tops looked like snow. Very Cold on
the top of Callow Hill, strong breeze, making it feel like -9c. Though
there was a couple at the top, sitting down, with there backs to a cairn
having a picnic. And I thought I was mad ! ;-)

An interesting train journey today from Malvern to Bolton.
Evidence of frost and light dustings of snow until Birmingham.
Then from Birmingham to Wolverhampton there seemed
to be the partially melted remains of at least a proper
covering of snow. All traces of snow disappered as soon
as we got north of Wolverhampton.
Beyond Stoke the landscape appeared very frosty and
here in Bolton there has been a covering of snow.

Currently -3.3C and clear.
