Here in Maidenhead the temperature has failed to climb above
0C since it dropped below freezing last night. Just been analysing the rainfall for 2005 so far - at present 2005 is the driest year locally for over 70 years. If the promisied snow/sleet/rain is as heavy as suggested and we get more than 5mm of rainwater equivalent, then 1953 will have been drier (as possibly, will have 1990). Roger |
