[WR] South Coast Wintry Mix
1600Z : Short period of sleet, snow grains and a bit of snow, I think.
Readily settled on all surfaces. Sleet reported at Hurn EGHH 291620Z 17005KT 3000 -RASN BR BKN010 BKN020 01/00 Q1013 EGHH 291550Z 09007KT 5000 -RASN BKN023 00/M01 Q1013 Jon. South Coast Wintry Mix
The mild air just won the battle here in North Devon
At dusk, one final valiant attempt from the snow. I noticed a few flakes fluttering down on the breeze. Really strange how bits of snow have stuck on certain walls and surfaces, but melted from others. (Places where the frost held on for longest i guess) But i've just done a lamp-post check and... it's definatly rain falling out there now |
