It's completely calm, so there must be some wind aloft somewhere!

Yes - but what are the sheep doing? (was wondering whether they are
allowed to lie down at times when there isn't any snow).

Ah, but there is still snow, full cover!
We drove past a field today and the majority were stood up, however, the
snow was patchy in that field.

I was born in Driffield (Hospital) and raised on a farm near Hotham
then one by Spaldington and have/had relatives scattered around the
Wolds - Dad's cousin used to farm Raisthorpe (by Thixendale).
