.... well according to the Sky football commentator at Ewood Park
(Blackburn). It's 5C at Manchester airport - mild I would say for a January night.. We need the equivalent of Private Eye's "Dumb Britain" on here. I'm in my usual bad mood having seen Mylene Classe get 17 out of 18 right on "Sex in the City 3" and 1 out of 20 right on general knowledge on Mastermind. I'm no snob but I detest this celebrity society. Dave, grumpy old man mode. |

Unless they have good thermals under their suits you'd be surprised how little they wear for spending 2 hours sat outside on an open commentary boat. The crew know that if you don't wrap up you have to post warning notices refering to brass monkeys. Though I guess the fact they are involved in the match and running on adrenaline is a bit different to the crew just sat waiting for the final whistle... Camera operators are a little more active but they still wrap themselves well up. It's 5C at Manchester airport - mild I would say for a January night.. 5C is certainly mild but some boats are very exposed and catch the tiniest wiff of wind. Suspended, as many are, below the roof of the stand 50 to 100' up in the air. I can't remember what blackburn is like though. -- Cheers Dave. pam is missing e-mail |
