1900
Temperature has stayed between 0.0 and +1.5 deg C all day. Light snow/snow grains for most of day, however, dry and damp now. Sun popped out for a while this afternoon but then the fog and snow rolled back in within the hour just as I was out walking. Managed to get myself lost on Bagtor Down in thick fog and snow grains which was embarrasing. Snow line is around 330m asl and it is quite white above 400m with a sprinkling of snow. Powder snow on Rippon Tor summit at 474m (circa 1600 feet) where the temperature was below freezing this afternoon. Rippon Tor is the highest place I can walk to on the afternoon dog walk. Just a sprinkling of snow on the grass here at home and it is mostly damp and rather raw. Ah well, will see what the dawn brings tomorrow! Will (Haytor, Dartmoor, Devon, 310m asl) -- |

sleety rain and drizzle here in Plympton. May turn to snow if that
moderate burst in the channel up wind of us hits. Stan "JoSoap" wrote in message ... Well its good to see you made it back Will.
