Where abouts in the UK are you?, here in the Scottish Borders it has been
incredably mild, highlights so far, 1 day of wet snow and have needed to
scrape Ice of car window about twice! Today we had a rather balmy 14°C

esspecially when the last 10 years have seen some of the warmest winters
ever.

years, average to slightly below average.

Considering I just completed a bike ride in clothing I'd be using in

I seem to remember that the forecasts at the time were indeed predicting
what you (and we here in west Wales) have seen; a milder than usual
winter. It was the south-east that was mentioned as possibly coming
under the influence of the continental weather.

Probably as many times as the BBC and media in general forecasted a winter
akin to 47 or 62 ... Its a bit like this bird flu crap, we were promised a
pandemic that could wipe out a good percentage of all the old folk, what
have we got, a couple folk with bad cough in Turkey!

Give it time, it hasn't started yet. AFAIK all the Turkey cases are
bird human transfer not human human.
