Hi
In a synoptic chart, if a low pressure lies to the east of the British Isles and a high pressure to the west, and isobars between the two are approximately running north/south then in what direction will the wind be coming from, north or south, and why? Sorry if this seems a basic question but hopefully someone can help. TIA phil |
