Hmm... if we reach the "calamitous" stage; I'll have to take the advice
of one of my friends who is a bit of a survival nut :-

"Chris, when times get really tough - there's only two things you need
to look after your family - a big pack of water purification tablets,
and a well-loaded shotgun".

So far the stream at the bottom of the garden has not dried out in a hot &
dry summer. But there's always a first time! And being a cyclist, you should
always carry a water purification tablet or two with you... that way you can
refill from a stream if needs be :-)
