In the morning NOAA 17 photo the cold front lies from central Scotland to
western Ireland and in the afternoon NOAA 16 photo it lies from SE Scotland
to eastern Ireland. Large amounts of high and medium-level cloud over the
North Sea and eastern England and over the Low Countries. Lines of showers
moving towards Ireland and NW Scotland.

Rain in north and west Scotland on Tuesday night with some outbreaks
developing in Wales and SW England by Wednesday morning. Widespread rain
in Ireland and northern Britain by midday moves slowly SE to cover northern
England and Wales by late afternoon. Rain band narrows and breaks up as it
continues to move SE into southern England in the evening. Showers in
Scotland behind the rain area.
