================================================== ==================
This posting expresses the personal view and opinions of the author.
Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do.
================================================== ==================

Day max +0.7 deg C (and this was at midnight!)
Night min -1.4 deg C (and this was at 1040 this morning!)

Cloudy and misty all day with the temperature below freezing all daylight hours.
A very cold and bleak day up here on Devon's tundra.

30cm soil temperature at 1700 was +2.8 deg C
Air temperature -1.0 deg C

Winter has only just got going up here in Devon, February is normally our
coldest month.

Not much snow this January.
Just 6 days snow falling and 3 days snow lying at 0900 more than half cover.
Max depth 1 cm. Total fresh snowfall 2 cm.

Will.
