This posting expresses the personal view and opinions of the author. Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do. ================================================== ================== Day max +0.7 deg C (and this was at midnight!) Night min -1.4 deg C (and this was at 1040 this morning!) Cloudy and misty all day with the temperature below freezing all daylight hours. A very cold and bleak day up here on Devon's tundra. 30cm soil temperature at 1700 was +2.8 deg C Air temperature -1.0 deg C Winter has only just got going up here in Devon, February is normally our coldest month. Not much snow this January. Just 6 days snow falling and 3 days snow lying at 0900 more than half cover. Max depth 1 cm. Total fresh snowfall 2 cm.
