-------------------------------------------------------------- 0630z VRBL F1 1500 HZ 8St -02.0/-03.4 1023 RMK: Topsoil remains soft and moist with no signs of freezing. 1500z N F2 2500 HZ 8St004 -00.9/-03.5 1023 RMK: Despite the air temperature being below zero since about 1700z yesterday the ground has remained completely free from frost and ice, undoubtedly due to complex interactions amongst radiation, convection, turbulent mixing and conduction. 24-HR STATISTICS: Max (0900-0900z): 0.5 at 1350z Min (0900-0900z): -2.0 at 0735z Grass min (1500-0900z): -1.6 Rain (0900-0900z): Nil Norman.
