I think we've seen plenty of east / north east through the winter..
just not much snow

Once the current wintry stuff has cleared away from Scotland and the
far East... then maybe not too much wintry stuff to come now

After the cold, grey nothingness of the past few weeks. I won't mind
some mild weather, with some active Atlantic depressions.

I dunno how much rain will fall over the south, but by heck... it's
needed

With our westery outlook we can see the approach of midwinter in the
next few days. How many oriental countries see it as the start of the
year?
