Mesoscale discussions outline the heavy snow band with embedded thunderstorms- http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md0140.html UKMO forecasts this low to bomb further to ~959hPa by 12Z tomorrow as it moves under the left exit of the jet system http://squall.sfsu.edu/gif/jetstream_atl_init_00.gif itself forecast to strengthen to ~200Kts in mid Atlantic . http://squall.sfsu.edu/gif/jetstream_atl_h36_00.gif Associated cold front/occlusion crosses UK Tuesday into Wednesday could prove active.Thereafter westerly regime with active troughs should liven things up for southern England, -- regards, David add '17' to Waghorne to reply |
