Only joking but you just have to look at the GFS operational 6Z run for 18Z
March 4th. For East Anglia there is -14C 850 hPa, 504 dam thickness, general heavy snow with convection!! I don't really understand why these aren't programmed out because at the T+ 48 stage I've probably only seen a chart like that a couple of times if at all in the last 25 years! I make that about 1 in 30,000 runs. Fun though isn't it! Dave |
