I didn't pay much attention to last night's forecast so correct me if I'm
wrong but I thought rain/sleet was going to spread S.E during the day maybe turning to snow towards evening. So I was quite surprised to find it snowing at 7.30 a.m, continuing till early p.m then turning to rain as the temp maxed at 2.9C. Was it due to it being colder overnight 0.9C, lowish D.P and the pptn coming in quicker than expected with the colder air still to undercut? Dave |
