Default Toys and prams

================================================== ==================
This posting expresses the personal view and opinions of the author.
Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do.
================================================== ==================

Unfortunately I can see hundreds of toys being thrown out of prams this week as
the distribution of snow is likely to be very unfair. Some places are going to
get tons, others, little or none. The areas most likely to see most snow are
northern and eastern Scotland, northern Ireland, parts of NW England, Wales, SW
England, NE England and East Anglia. Even on thursday the depression will most
probably only bring rain, sleet and snow to SW England from Hampshire westwards
with most snow on Dartmoor and Exmoor. SW England likely to see milder air next
weekend bringing a mix of rain and hill snow.

Sorry, I hope I'm wrong and everybody gets something :-(

Will.

All I want is an end to the winter and some warm spring sunshine; this
winter has gone on long enough for me!

Can you define NW England ?

Or put this way, for a location 10 miles East of Carlisle, about 10 miles
south of the Scottish border, 50 miles West of Newcastle, edge of the North
Pennines at 117m ASL

I will owe £10 to my two lads if it doesnt snow this week here !

It'll come Nick you can be sure of that. Even up here in the snow my daffs are
now 2-3" long out of the ground :-O
March can produce some horrendous weather though in the SW as the seas are so
cold. But we know that by May the sun will be shining, blossom will be on the
trees, the sea will be warming up and this long winter will be a thing of the
past. But till then I intend to enjoy every minute of it!

I'd be very surprised if you didn't get some snow this week, but maybe not a
lot. So I reckon your tenner is safe.

March can produce some horrendous weather though in the SW as the seas are so
cold.

By contrast, In central southern England march seems to be often one of
the most settled and driest months of the year. A mixture of dry/cloudy
and springlike warm spells is typical, with only short periods of
changeable weather. April is normally more changeable than March, if
sunnier.

Mine are in flower..but then they are Rijnveld's Early Sensation and so they
should be in February, 70% of them won't be out until March.

Considering in Dec 2004 I had a snowdrop in flower on Dec 31st, this year
they are still not at their peak, with some still only emerging in bud at
the moment.
