Default Channel low path

As Neil mentioned in another thread the track of the channel low is
'interesting. My current 15 satellite animation has it currently on a
direct easterly route, but perhaps what is more intriguing is the
appearance on the latest radar or precipitation off the SW of Ireland.
It matches the cloud shield, but if the easterly course continued then
surely precipitation would reach S. Wales e.g.?

Just a thought...
