This satpic is extraordinary:

Yet it cannot be as the land temperatures are 5 degs at best and the sea temperature is around 8 degs. X/C weather wind arrows also showed a convergence Any ideas or explanations? Jack |

Jack Although the air temperature is low, the sun is relatively strong now, so the ground is likely to be a good deal warmer (assuming it's been sunny!) I've certainly noticed sea breezes here when you certainly woudn't expect them by the air temperature.
