Default [WR] Heavy snow in Bolton

Heavy snow here, blowing around in the wind. Around 2cm perhaps
but rapidly building. Interesting how the snow initially struggled to settle
on roads/pavements which must have been heated by this morning's
sunshine, but it's now covering even those now.

All toys now neatly aligned in the playpen

Ummmm.................!

I'm looking over towards Winter Hill direction now and it looks very black!
I think it is heading south towards the Macclesfield area.
Last nights temps got down to -7.1.
There is still snow on the ground from yesterday

Will keep you posted

Regards
Lockzie

Same here in Middlewich, Cheshire. Very dark and threatening to the North.

The drive home should be fun..:-)

Moderate snow falling here, giving a slight covering. Temperature down from
3.3degC to 0.8degC in about ten minutes. Hardly a breath of wind is making
for some lovely scenes.

Snow now stopped with depth around 6cm. I'm assuming I won't
get any more. Tonight's min when the cloud breaks will be interesting
now I have a 'proper' snow cover.

It's mine turn to throw toys out of pram !

I was expecting a trough to come through yesterday evening but it died
off in the north midlands. :'-(
