Another murky morning which looks as though it ought to be raining but
isn't. Very calm. At 09:00:- 8/8 St/As, base of the lowest layer c.400 metres. Temperature 3.7°C rising from a low of 1.7°C at 05:15. Dew point 3.7°C RH 100% Wind 1 mph, gusting to 2 mph, SE. Max gust 11 mph, NE, at 06:30. Barometer 993.9 mb, slowly falling. Precipitation since midnight 0.2 mm. Total precipitation this month 16.8mm. Total precipitation this year 262.6mm. -- Alan White Twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow, overlooking Lochs Long and Goil in Argyll, Scotland.
