Brussels windy but not a gale
Brussels on Saturday 8 January
Cloudy at first with a brief spell of rain mid-morning. Cloud started to break with bright intervals by noon. Sunny spells after midday - sky clear except for small amounts of ragged cumulus and patches of cirrus from mid-afternoon. Mild until evening. Fresh to strong SW wind in the morning veered WSW after the front and was no more than moderate in the evening. Highest gusts - 49 kn at Uccle and 50 kn at the Airport. Brussels Airport 11.4°C - overnight minimum 9.4°C - and 0.8 mm rain. No temperature or rainfall reports from Uccle.
