Norman ,what on earth are you doing sending out obs timed at 0615z,do you
have a paper round, or have to milk the cows ?( or a very devoted wife....)

It's when I start work :-) Best time of the day IMHO.

During my career I've often had to start work a lot earlier than that.
While in Australia I had spells at Rockhampton and Mount Isa airports.
They were single forecaster offices manned Mon-Fri mornings. The bulk of
the forecasting had to be done before all the light aircraft started
flying at first light. The working day started at 5 a.m.

You get used to it!
