This could be the most pleasant day we've had for sometime. The wind
is decreasing, the sun is shining and the showers are becoming more scattered. Currently, temperature 7.6°C from a minimum of 6.8°C at 11:00 and a maximum of 11.4°C at 02:30. The wind is still gusting to 27mph, W, decreasing from a maximum gust of 49mph, SSW, at 02:30. Barometer 1000.6mb steady from a min of 987.4mb at 05:00. Rainfall since midnight 6.2mm with some earlier showers producing 2.4mm/hr. -- Alan White Twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow. Overlooking Loch Goil and Loch Long in Argyll, Scotland.
